Open Circle – Goals and Assessment
Part 1 – Beginners/Assessment of candidate’s ability
Assess student’s ability:
What is the student’s spiritual knowledge?
Is the student aware of the spiritual energy?
Is the student aware of the chakras?
Does the student already connect with spirit?
Establish how the student connects.
Does the student know how to open/close down?
Student to start sitting in circle to develop and enhance their senses & spiritual connection.
Build up student’s confidence and trust in circle leader.

Group and other exercises to be used each week in teaching and developing the candidate’s senses and skills to the level of achievement required for Spiritual Mediumship i.e.: Auras; Colour; Chakras; Prayers (both written and ‘off-the-cuff’); meditation (write and take); sense & energy exercises; stones; flowers; photos; ribbons; Inspirational Writing; Inspirational Drawing.
Part 2 – Candidates will be trained towards being able to
Using correct terminology
Awareness of tidy and hygienic demeanour and dress code for public service
Practice meditation
Practice doing a reading
Practice giving a short address to the group
Link in with a circle member and give a 10 min reading
Assessment on progress
Part 3 – In this group candidates will be expected to
Candidate 1Â - Stand and give a reading to the group
Candidate 2Â - Stand and give a 12 minute address to the group from the reading
Candidate 3 - Do 20 minutes on platform – this will build and grow confidence
Tests on clairaudient, clairsentient and clairvoyant skills
Assessment on progress
Part 4 – More will be expected as they now progress
Candidates will be invited to work on platform:
To do a reading e.g. a poem, prayer or prose which they found particularly appealing or apt.
To give an address from a reading that someone else has just given e.g. a poem, prayer or prose which they found particularly appealing or apt.
They will then give 30 minutes of messages (this will allow them to experience and understand what is expected of them).
This will give the circle leader an idea of their abilities, confidence and/or weaknesses

Group exercises in advance sense and energy exercises.
Part 5 -Â Final assessments begin within the group
They will be assessed on:
Giving a reading that the student has written themselves
20 minute address (from a reading someone else has written)
One hour of spiritual messages in front of the group
Must show their ability to work on platform
Use of good terminology
Awareness of tidy and hygienic demeanour and dress code
